"Dr. Guturity can break the shields of all his other brothers so he can find them. He smashes the shield and finds them instantly." This is a special power he was granted, but only supratemporarily. This matters because one of the characteristics of the temporal cosmiverse involves the strange electromagnetic astrochemistry at work which results in the physical impossibility of ever meeting your sub- doppelganger (the land that could've been's own alternate version of you). It works in a manner analogous to how magnets repel themselves, only on a greater and more powerful deeper level which results in a certain radius of repellant limits (depending on the mass power index ratio between the opponents).
For example, when two alternate subprime world brothers as it were, really more like clones in a manner of speaking, molded from a different infinite potentiality, each correctly deduce the existence of one another, it almost goes without saying that at least one of them, if not both, would ponder over how to overcome the conundrum. The implications are obvious to the lineage of Sherlock Holmes's paramount literary successors. *
